INTERESTS

Musical Theatre.

From Legally Blonde to Billy Elliot, Disney's Aladdin and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, RENT and The Wedding Singer - I absolutely adore a trip to the theatre and my musical theatre Spotify playlist...

Cats.

Yep, definitely a 'cat person'. Check out my one-eyed, wonky, furry baby!

Baking.

I'm not quite Mary Berry (not even close to be quite honest) but my time is often consumed watching baking shows and then trying to replicate the 'dirty-iced, red velvet cakes' later in the evening.

Burritos, burgers and dessert.

I love to spend the weekends meeting with friends and checking out the restaurants I've found through Instagram tags. What's better than company, dinner and tiramisu flavoured gelato?!

Travelling.

Love a holiday, love an airport duty-free browse. Travelling is a huge part of me and I love to get away when I can. Whether it's city breaks, lounging on the beach or even get chips in Skeggy... I'm down!

Live Music.

With a music journalist as a twin sister, we're always at gigs! Here, I like to pretend I'm a backing singer/dancer for the main act and then wonder why I have no voice for the following week.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Raised almost £1000 for Meningitis UK.

With no budget, I coordinated an event (a rock-based fancy dress gig) for the charity in a two-week time scale. Including five live acts, a raffle, bar, photographer, photo-booth and makeover service.

Nominated and shortlisted for Birmingham City University's 'Researcher of the Year' award.

Out of 1300 nominations I was shortlisted to the final 8 for 'Researcher of the Year' at the Extra Mile Awards 2017 for my dissertation thesis.

National Citizen Service (NCS).

NCS is a voluntary personal and social development programme which takes place for four weeks. Including a week outdoor pursuits stay, a residential visit in uni halls and two weeks social action project planning.
