After completing the National Citizen Service (NCS) myself in 2013, I joined the NCS and Leicestershire Education Business Company teams to encourage social enterprise and promote my own experiences to schools and colleges across Leicestershire as an ambassador. I spoke confidently in assemblies and classrooms to the audiences and distributed information packs. Following this, I contacted those who expressed an interest and gave additional details to parents/carer’s too. Here, I comprehended the importance of ethics and data protection as I inputted data which contained personal details which I had previous collected.
