BIG CHOICE GROUP
During my placement as a PR assistant to the Head of Business PR and Marketing, I was able to experience a professional working environment during the time of a company rebrand and launch of a new service. Here, I assisted with daily admin and general office jobs including; answering the phone, inputting data, replying to queries and managing the schedule. I was also given the responsibility of writing the press release on behalf of BigChoice to announce their new look and the exciting prospects of the company. From this, I gathered quotes and compiled a contacts list. Additionally, I updated the websites blog and press pack to spread the word for optimisation.
Continuing, I also completed a thorough competitor analysis for BigChoice and their partner groups, utilising my research skills. I was also asked to brainstorm possible angles and ideas for future campaigns and consider feasibility and attitude when generating stories and message to convey and prompt coverage. Here I learnt the importance of being an integrated communicator in a digital agency.
